Welcome

  • This website can only reveal a small part of the many components that comprise St. Richard of Chichester Parish. No matter what you find at this site, please know that it is the people of St. Richard Parish that define and reveal the true essence of this parish.

If you are a parishioner, would like to visit or are new to the area, we welcome you to pray with us. We often refer to ourselves as a parish family; all people are welcome here. We care about each other, our city, our Church and our world.

Being a part of the St. Richard community is best expressed by participation in the weekend liturgies. There are also many other opportunities to become actively involved in our faith community.

We believe that where people work together to make the world a better place, God is present.

Misson Statement

  • With our patron Richard we say:

WE WANT TO KNOW THEE MORE CLEARLY
By providing spiritual growth through all our generations.
By teaching our faith and traditions to our youth in our religious education programs.
By sharing our beliefs and evangelizing others.
By discovering Your presence in our diverse traditions.

WE WANT TO LOVE THEE MORE DEARLY
By worshipping as a Eucharistic community, in a welcoming way.
By actively and communally celebrating the sacraments.
By bringing God's presence to the sick, lonely and homebound.

WE WANT TO FOLLOW THEE MORE NEARLY
By being good stewards of our abundant gifts of time, talent and treasure.
By reaching out to our Southeast neighborhood and city of Racine.
By caring for the elderly, homeless and poor.
By going beyond our borders to the Peru Project.
By modeling for others our catholicity and unity.

We Promise to Proclaim This Good News with the Intercession of St. Richard and God's Grace.
